According to the problem of electricity quality monitoring, this article has developed acomplex monitoring and analysis system of the electricity quality base on the technique ofembedded ARM. The system is divided into two parts of the energy monitoring equipmentand power quality management system. The monitor devices capture voltage, currentreal time parameters. Computing devices power quality parameters like running power,harmonic content, three phase unbalance, which throw FFT and Instantaneous ReactivePower Theory. Last upload data into a computer database system storage and Analysis.According to the method of power quality statistics and management, power qualitymanagement procedures to establish a platform for power quality analysis, which providesdata storage and analysis with the support of database. The followings are the researchcontents:(1) Problems and algorithms of the power quality. Analysis of power quality problemsand the corresponding calculation method, which has be prescribed in GB. The phenomenonis analyzed including voltage deviation, frequency deviation, voltage dips, voltageinterruption, and harmonic content. On harmonic monitoring, monitor instantaneous reactivepower theory to calculate the compensation current, which for the Real time of compensate.The more accurate calculations will be system by the computer system with FFT.(2) The design and debugging of Real time monitor hardware circuit. The monitor circuitis divided into four parts of the master signal acquisition, data storage and communication.The main control chip is STM32F107, mainly taking into account its strong computing powerwith a variety of communication resources. The acquisition signal comprises theinstantaneous value and the frequency. Synchronous samplings rely on the phase locked loopfrequency multiplier circuit. The communications section includes CAN bus on sitecommunication and GPRS remote communication, and communication.(3) The program design of monitor. The main achievement of the power grid data collection, processing, storage and communication functions. Timer to calculate the signalfrequency, ADC is responsible for collecting data; DMA rapid transfer of data, UART isresponsible for data communication. Calculate the amount of the basic power and harmoniccompensation current.(4) Power quality analysis and program implementation. Using C++Builder softwaredevelopment power quality analysis program. Create power quality SQL database to storedata. Create the event record for the Circumstances of beyond GB standard to analyze theexception of power quality.
