With the development of modern industrial technology,a large number of Power Electronics and nonlinear loads are used widely, the harmonic of power system has brought great harm to social Production and the life of People, and affect the power quality greatly,so measures must be taken to hold harmonic back. Active Power filter is considered as the most effective method to harness the serious"power pollution",the paralleled shunt active power filter plays the most important role in various filters, research and application have become more and more attention.The paper firstly introduces the concept of harmonics, the causation and harm of harmonic. It also demonstrates the necessity of eliminate harmonics,and briefly introduces several methods to eliminate harmonics and research of both here and abroad. At the same time,the paper introduces the domestic and foreign situation on harmonic study. The harmonic detection and control Strategy are key link, selection level will have a direct impact on the effect of filtering. The principle of paralleled HAPF and represents the harmonic detection and control strategies which based on instantaneous reactive power theory in detail, and their respective advantages and disadvantages are proposed. The classification of active power filters and the principle of active power filters are introduced. Finally the improved harmonic current detection ip-iq method based on the instantaneous reactive power theory and the control strategy of SVPWM are used in this paper.Based on the above analysis,we study and design the main circuit parameters of paralleled HAPF and the hardware controller circuit of TMS320LF2407 chip with the core of hardware. It introduces the functions realized by the hardware and gives the diagrams and the flowcharts of main process of software. The hardware circuit includes: main circuit module design,current acquisition circuit, voltage conditioning circuit and signal sampling circuit. According to the hardware scheme of control system,the software realization scheme is given.The above design and the harmonic detection and control strategies are selected in SIMULINK environment of MATLAB software, and modeling and simulation are performed based on the Parallel HAPF. The Active Power Filter system can reduce the harm of harmonic which is generated by non-linear load in the power network from the simulated result, the device has a good performance of real-time detection and accurate compensation, and the result verifies the program of feasible and the theory of Effective.
