The transformer core transverse shear line is a special equipment for production of transformer, is the lifeline of transformer factory, occupied a very important position in core manufacturing, play a decisive role, and its precision and efficiency is directly related to the technical performance of transformer product quality, working efficiency and material loss size etc.In order to promote the development of transformer products, low efficiency of change, core shear process accuracy, material waste, the no-load loss higher backwardness, some of China’s economic strength of transformer manufacturers in the last century80’s to buy German Georg transformer core transverse shear line, the control system adopts distributed structure, composed of a large number of analog, digital electronic components, components with backward time gradually in the aging, to the last century90’s, have reached their service life, when fault occurs, the fault of any one element, it may lead to the whole system paralysis. Because the component aging, many broken components is also very difficult to buy, on the repair to solve problems of difficult.Now we must reform to the original control system to solve this situation fundamentally. In the basis of the original control function, as far as possible to reduce the cost of development, the existing mechanical, hydraulic and electric motor drive part of the reservation, the original control system most be replaced consisting of OMRON CQM1H series PLC, with Kingview software and Advantech IPC computer, can be achieved on the process parameters of field input, real-time monitoring, output display and alarm, production process of the implementation of effective management on site. It can improve the precision and the equipment control products, production efficiency, but also can enhance the reliability and intelligence of the whole control system.Silicon steel sheet size (length and angle) is an important factor that affects the quality of precision of the transformer, and the feeding speed has a crucial impact on the production efficiency of the transformer, so the transverse shear line control system design to meet the sheet positioning high speed requirements, to ensure the dimensional accuracy. Sheet positioning speed is the difficulty of system design, because of the interference by external factors, it is difficult to establish accurate mathematical model, and the traditional control method is difficult to achieve the ideal control effect, so the fuzzy PID control algorithm to control with common PID control combination, through experiments and simulation, good control effect, and has certain application value.
