The second Poyang Lake scientific investigation (Hereinafter referred to as“Scientific investigation of the Poyang Lake”) is a comprehensive scientificinvestigation after the first investigation in1980s. The contents are extensive whichinclude zoology, environment, hydrology and social economy etc. and the results areplentiful. To build data basement architecture which not only can integrates andmanage the generous and multi-source, but also can provides the data querying andapplying is meaningful on the realize of the sharing service of the Poyang Lakescientific investigate data. At the same time, in order to the urgent needs of thescientific results from government, scientific research institution and public, builds asharing service platform which provides data querying, analysis, change and visualizefor users of different levels makes the sustainable development of the Poyang Lakescientific supported and avoids the information isolating.This paper sets the second Poyang Lake scientific investigation as thebackground, analyses the data and function requirements of the data sharing serviceplatform, integrates the data base technology, GIS technology, spatial analysistechnology and geo-statistics methods, analyses the platform of the sharing serviceplatform, designs an unify sharing service platform of the Poyang Lake scientificinvestigate data which integrates the online querying, analysis, change andvisualization. At last, this research completes a one-stop sharing service by buildingthe sharing service platform web portals and realizes2classical applications whichreflect the value of the Poyang Lake scientific investigation data. In these twoapplications, the water information monitoring online and loss assessment system ofthe Poyang Lake realizes the one-stop integrate of the natural data and socialeconomy data; the ecological economic zone analysis system of the Poyang Lakeshows the application of the social and economic data which is based on the mappublishing and GIS spatial analysis applying.The initial operation of the platform indicates: with the use of the ArcSDE+SQL Server, the platform could manage and integrate the mass data of multi-source,multi-dimensionality and multi-scale of the Poyang Lake scientific investigate andrealize the integrative storage of the spatial data basement and non-spatial databasement; based on the B/S, C/S structure and directory services, the platformprovides functions such as the online querying, management, analysis, change,visualize and so on and provides technology support for the “one-stop” service; setsthe Poyang Lake water information monitor system and the Poyang Lake ecologicaleconomic zone social economic data analysis system as the demonstrate applications reflects the beautiful use of the different data type and integrate application and laidthe foundation of the technology and application for the further construction,application and promotion of the platform.
