After that, the oldest Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand is injected vigor and vitality. It is a new look to show in front of the readers.Over the past decade, decrease in audience, lack of funds and shortage of talent lead to Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand fall into troubles. Compared with English-language newspaper and Thai-newspaper, the mode of Chinese-language newspaper was old. The revision of "THE SING SIAN YER PAO DAILY NEWS" changed the situation of Chinese-language newspaper. In the revision process, newspaper office is exploring new model and path of Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand. Research on this revision, we can see the questions of Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand today. Moreover, it will offer a new way of Chinese-language newspaper development.In this thesis, the author mainly uses content analysis to study the change of "THE SING SIAN YER PAO DAILY NEWS". Base on the analysis of the layout of newspaper, type of coverage, news source, we will compare before and after the revision to find out this revision’s characteristics and the reasons for it.The author thinks that, after this revision,"THE SING SIAN YER PAO DAILY NEWS" has the following changes. First, the layout of newspaper is more concise. Second, the proportion of the Chinese news is rising. Third, the grade of the supplement is increasing. Fourth, newspaper’ s website was set up, and has a quick speed in its development. Fifth, the operation of the newspaper is more diversified. The newspaper office’s determination is the immediate reason in this revision. The change of environment which Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand depend on is the revision’ s main reason. Revision in2012, Sing Sian Yer Pao finds a new way to develop Chinese-language newspaper in Thailand. This new way bases on the combination of industry and newspaper. The revision’ s trends will serve as the "flagship" of the Chinese-language newspaper’ s revision in Thailand in the future.
