Billet heating is a very important step in the process of rolling production, whichhas a direct impact on many production processes, including the quality of theproducts, energy consumption, and the security of production equipment and so on.Not only has there a large number of processes of complex chemical, heat transfer andair flow in the furnace, but also considering overall of the furnace equipment from thefront and rear. Therefore, it has an important significance for the actual production toestablish a furnace process control system of advanced and practical.The main research content including:1. Build the mathematical model of billet temperature predication which basedon the state space, and solved the difficulties of measuring the temperature of thebillet in the production of the furnace, which provided an important foundation for thefurnace to optimize control settings.2. Discussed the related theory and technology which involved in the methods ofobject-oriented and process control system, and purposed an process control methodsof use case-driven.3. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of object-oriented productionprocess, modeled the use-case model for the requirements of controlling, and theobject model for the requirements of controlling, and the control object model, whichlaid the foundation for the design of process control system of pusher-type furnace.4. After completing the above work, set up the external simulation environmentof pusher-type furnace for the test of process control. Tested and achieved the processcontrol system of pusher-type, which showed that this system can full the fill of theprocess control of pusher-type, and can also be applied in the actual productionprocess.
