Nowadays, almosteveryone who uses social networking sites has his own microblog, in the face ofemergencies and social events, microblog becomes the first platform of the newsrelease, even microblog opinion can promote or hinder the development of theseevents. Microblog, is a free expressing market, according to an event, all levels ofpeople can express their different opinions and views, so the demands of expression isdiversified, the opinions are not all the same, its influence is also considerable. As thegovernment, media and other departments should find the public opinion in time andgive the public opinion right guidance, so, the network public opinion monitoringsystem come into being, it is a kind of computer monitoring system which can expressby charts, bars, diagrams in a certain period of time according to a specific event inthe network.This thesis on the basis of the theory of communication, the authoranalyzes the microblog propagation mechanism and the spread of public opinion,using the network public opinion monitoring system as a starting point, through thehot issues public opinion to find the status of microblog in network public opinion,from the data，to know that microblog has a significant impact on public opinion.Finally, with practice, this thesis analyzes how to control the microblog opinion andhow to guide the opinion reasonably.
