With the rapid development of network technology and multimedia technology, human society has entered an information society. Teaching methods become more flexible. In order to take full advantage of convenience that the network has bring to and rich educational resources, teaching behavior through the network classroom gradually become an important way. Various types of network classroom mostly based on instant messaging technology, and forms of information exchange contain text, images, audio, video, etc. Because of the lack of real-time graphical information interaction in the classroom, so education information exchange is difficult to achieve similar effect just like a real blackboard. To solve such problem, subject focus on designing and implementing whiteboard module for network classroom, and it is important to enrich knowledge presentation mode.Through document researching and summarizing recently study status of use at home and abroad, subject analyses the advantage and disadvantage of original existing whiteboard. Based on document researching and practical use, subject analyzes the basic needs of whiteboard in the network classroom. Based on the above basic needs, propose an improved design, analyze the system’s overall function and module functions. Based on the overall design, subject completes the development of the entire system with Flex, BlazeDS and Java. With BlazeDS, implement messages sending. Using the timestamp method implement improved concurrency control that can be self-adjustment. The system achieves the role permissions control so teacher can control the teaching process. System can also store information and user can review. After the completion and test of the system, the result is that the system is a good, normal operation, and can meet the needs and requirements of the network classroom whiteboard. Therefore, the study design and implement the improved whiteboard that can be applied in the network classroom with real-time graphical interactive features. It improves the efficiency of information transfer in the network classroom. Subject has practical value and significance.
