Rail freight transport is the main artery of national economy. It is the direction of the construction of rail freight that the transportation management should be change to be more efficiency and more competitiveness. Among them, the information technology has played an important role. With modern computer and communication technology developed rapidly, railway information management should move to a new level to provide strong data support for rail transport. Initiated by the Information Technology Center of Ministry of Railways, the railway TMIS (Train Management Information System) project has improved the overall level of information technology for railway transportation, and provide technical support for the modernization of production operations and information management. But the TMIS project is a huge project, it need constantly improved and perfected. Among the existing TMIS network, the station management information system is one of the most important part of the TMIS network. But the old version of the station management information system, which used the C/S mode, is not applicable for the requirements of information centralized and reporting. Therefore, the demand for early launch of a new station for management information system is imperative.Based on the actual needs of Inventory Management, this paper use Flex and J2EE technology to build RIA model of distributed station management information system. The paper explore the application of Flex, EJB, JPA and Oracle technologies to create the four-layer system, analysis and design of the applications built around the end of the BlazeDS messaging framework. This paper analysis the implementation of the main business inventory management system from four aspects of the management of the current train, departure and receving of train work, graphic shunting work and information services. Finally, this paper analysis the enhancement of system performance from the three aspects of optimization of data service, data persistence control and the perspective of building real-time communication system. The new station management information system has achieved the centralized management and reporting of data, saving the cost of upgrading software deployment, providing a more complete data support for the railway administrations scheduling and the exact implementation Fluid Assignment marshalling.
