As a pillar industry of the national economy, Semiconductor discrete device has aclose relationship in people’s livelihood. With the development of science andtechnology, it occupies an important role in people’s lives and production. However,how to use automation testing equipment to complete automation test has been abottleneck problem in mass production of discrete devices. With the upgrade ofmanufacturing equipment, the output of discrete devices becomes higher and higher,how to achieve fast and efficient of the test and production while ensuring the safety ofthe test process, test instrument stability and reliability of test results as well as tester’sversatility, all these factors put forward higher requirements discrete devices equipment.This paper relies on laboratory project which aims to design a set of testingsoftware of discrete devices equipment with independent research and development.Through controlling this software we can test discrete devices.The main function of the software are as follows: providing graphicalprogramming, set range of test results by your own self, compile and download to meetthe testing of different device; in online testing, returning results in real time anddiscards devices which don’t meet the requirement by sorting machine to free liberationin testing process total; operating software via USB real-timely to control tester runningand recording test details.In order to ensure security, reliability and stability of software, we introduce a newcomputer technology—trusted technology in our design process. In entire cycle of thesoftware, we introduce error handing techniques, including avoid wrong technology,Error proofing, troubleshooting and fault-tolerant technology to ensure the reliabilityand enhance the average failure time in running time. According the result to developappropriate test plan which can enhance the reliability of software, shorten developmentcycle to achieve the goal of saving development costs, software availability, security,reliability.
