Since the 21th century, wireless network technology has the rapid development, especially in the field of broadband wireless, a kind of new wireless network technology- WMN (known as Wireless Mesh Networks) emerges, showing its great potential and arousing extensive attention.Traditional WLAN has variety of problems, such as lower scalability and poorer robustness, however, the new Wireless Mesh Networks can replace it, because it can make up the shortcomings by virtue of making each node send and receive signals in the network. At the same time, as a new type of broadband wireless access system, the Wireless Mesh Network is composed by the routers and wireless terminals, and it is multi-hop wireless networks with high-capacity, high-speed, and can be used as last-mile network to solve the bottleneck problem. All the advantages firm its core status in future wireless communications domain.As a branch of the Wireless Mesh Network research, WMN reliability technology attracts experts and scholars'great attention. Subject to the wireless Mesh networking reliability problem, the paper proposes the all-terminal reliability optimization design idea of Mesh backbone network. The core is when configure Mesh backbone network topology, the network cost is given, network designers want to use the least cost to get the optimized network performance .Therefore , the link reliability, the network average delay should be considered as limit factors simultaneously. Using genetic algorithm implements the idea and experiment validates the effectiveness of the algorithm.Besides, the paper also gives the reliable routing protocol based on weight. Which mainly considers the node mobility, the path hop count, delay, link reliability, link failure number when choose the routings. Therefore , make all the metrics as routing weight factors and then calculate the overall routing right value, select the biggest weight path as transport routing ,the experiment verifies that the algorithm can obtain better performance.
