The meeting room is an important place for enterprise decision management andproblem solving. In order to better manage and utilize the limited resources of themeeting room, meeting room reservation management system have appear.This paper presents the design and implementation of a meeting room schedulingmanagement system based on Struts framework. The realization of this system is to useconvenient units to improve efficiency in the use of the meeting room, such as querymeeting room, registration meeting information, marking the meeting room occupied;response meeting timely and accurate room status, display the occupied the venue of themeeting content and related information, to attend the meeting provide guidance;present an unoccupied meeting state; check the VIP area video, the understanding of thepresent situation.In order to better manage and realize the function module, It used the frameworkbased on Struts. In the access database is no longer accessible using pure JavaBeandatabase, but combined with the use of third party mature component Hibernate. In datastorage, the data base management system MySQL source saved data.In order to manage and use good scheduling management system based on Strutsframework for the meeting room, the size of the control authority by using the meetingroom management, booking management, data management, user management andstatistical query module of the five, set up three kinds of users: ordinary users, thesystem administrator and super administrator, have different user roles different menuauthority. As in ordinary users only meeting room management and reservationmanagement authority, only super user permissions has all the menu.
