With the rapid development of integrated circuit, the serviceability of mobileterminal device has improved at the same time. And with the increasing popularity ofthe3G and4G technology, we are in such an era that the mobile internet technologydevelops rapidly. The mobile terminal not only a tool for communication but also ainformation processing platform. But the portability of the mobile terminal results in thelimitation on compute,storage,display of the terminal devices and the limitation ondevelopment of mobile applications. The concept of cloud computing is to put the dataprocessing and storage on the remote server, thus reduce the work of the terminaldevices.So this thesis proposes a mobile terminal application desktop service based onthe cloud computing.The thesis introduces the architecture pattern of the virtual application desktopservice, then analysis the four main parts in detail: mobile terminal client, user’s virtualdesktop, cloud computing platform management system and the remote applicationconnecting module. The main work includes research the current cloud computingmanagement platform and virtual technology, put forward desktop virtualization andapplication virtualization services on the basis of the service virtualization.The cloudcomputing virtual platform provide the environment for developing, testing and runningthe applications. Accomplish the whole operation process which includes the identityauthentication, mobile terminal service billing methods, virtual desktop functions likesubscribe, release and delete the applications,parts of the cloud platform managementsystem and the module which package the remote connecting protocol to connect theremote applications. A series of software testing shows that using the virtual applicationdesktop services can improve the performance of the mobile terminal applications.The thesis provides an effective approach for solving the principal problems ofmobile cloud computing without considering whether the computing or storageresources are adequate. Unlike the traditional modes, it is convenient for terminal usersto download and install the applications on the terminal devices is needless, which turnsto be a new application service pattern.
