Application Design Of Desktop Cloud Project In China Telecom

With the advancement of computer hardware technology,"high-efficiency, lowcost, and maintaining security" have become information-based solution ofinternational businesses at present. Therefore, various international companiesachieve these targets via corporate-level information technology solution on primarybusinesses. Of which, as the leading enterprise in IT industry, Big Blue IBM firstlyproposed the concept and supporting technology of "cloud computing". It utilizesmodern virtual technology gradually developed, integrates and redistributescomputing and storage resources of multiple distributed information platforms,thereby maximally improving the equipment performance of enterpriseinformation-based service level, and make the information system of whole enterprisereach the aim of improving efficiency and decreasing cost in information technology.The predecessor of desktop virtualization technology is remote desktop, whichcan attain the role of corporate-level unified customization and desktop managementvia server virtualization and client setting. Such technology can uniformly control andcustomize desktop, customize software resources, and distribute storage resources atserver, so as to reach the aim of corporate-level unified management. At client-side,such technology can greatly decrease the configuration requirements on client; andreduce the cost of client and various hidden troubles brought by human factors.This paper, first introduces the cloud computing technique and its currentdevelopmental situation and trend. Through analyzing telecom operators’ significantadvantages at traditional field, expounds the advantages of telecom operators todevelop cloud computing business; and explains through developing cloud computingbusiness, telecom operators can reduce expenditure internally, significantly reduceoperating costs and the new business’s line on cost; they can also broaden sources ofincome externally, provide pay-on-demand cloud computing value-added services forcustomers. This paper, analyzes four business scenes of Liaoning Telecom Company:office scene, business lobby scene, No.10000scene, and maintenance scene, fromwhich we can find the key problems of business lobby’s desktop environment areinformation security, management costs and desktop standardization. Desktop cloudscheme can improve management level of information security and desktopstandardization at business lobby, and reduce desktop management costs effectively.This paper, analyzing the network topology of Liaoning Telecom Company,consulting the desktop cloud’s basic structure of a company, designs two typicalscenarios proposals that suitable for Liaoning Telecom Company. They are OAofficial data stream and No.10000data stream respectively. Besides, it also designsdesktop cloud’s logical structure of Liaoning Telecom Company, and chooses equipments in accordance with the structure. The paper lists the main hardwaredevices, parameters and fittings; formulates implementation plans according to logicalstructure; and compares the implementation effects—mainly compares new networkaccess’s data stream direction and the original data stream route, as well as theoriginal systematic delay time and desktop cloud’s delay time; from which we can seethe final effect of telecommunication desktop cloud scheme is significant.
