Water is an important foundation of people’s lives and productionresources, and it is the indispensable prerequisite for national economicdevelopment. With the development of socio-economic and science andtechnology, Water supply enterprises are increasingly high requirementsfor tap water production. How to reasonable and effectively produce tapwater by automated has become their goal. This paper focuses on thewater supply control and supervision system and its application toconduct serious research, and objective analysis of businessrequirements for the monitoring and management of water productionproposed by a waterworks in MianYang. And then the paper elaborateshow to design the system.The main task of the paper is to establish and achieve themonitoring system of tap water production. To monitor the process oftap water production, we increase the monitoring system on the Originalequipment. The main object of monitoring is the seepage well, dosingroom, high, low pump The work is to complete the on-site datacollection, display, and saving. The main design features include dataacquisition function, graphics display, historical data query, data reportquery function, alarm, Web.Base on this system, workers can productreasonable and supply water safety.Using the iFix, we develop water-supply monitoring system, andachieve the data collection and send the data to controlling center. Thesystem has greatly improved the level of water supply management ofmodern enterprises. It improves work efficiency, and reduces productioncosts.
