Telemedicine is a medical service that is under development in recent years. It developed from medical health care combined with information technology, and provided medical information and service for patient with telecommunication and multimedia technology. It has a broad application prospect. Medical information system unified inner management, improved work efficiency and simplified the cross department cooperation. It reflected modern medical service which was with the patient at the core and the diagnosis and treat as the mainstay. But now our hospital information system is just limited to mock and replace artificial operation process, involving little or no clinical information and lacking of decision support. What it can provide is usually some management and economics information such as administration, finance, medicine, the front sheet of the medical record, medical statistics, etc.This project is aimed at designing and completing a telemedicine information management system which was with the medical record management and auxiliary diagnosis at the core, including management function of medicine management, disease management and system management. It not only renders enquiry services, but also guides patient to use drugs rationally with clinical experience, so that to realize information sharing and increase the utilization rate of resources. Firstly in this thesis, the development process of telemedicine was introduced, and the status and the trend of telemedicine were summarized. Furthermore, I analyzed the interface technologies of iFIX and SQL Server, and realized the communication of each other. Based on this formula, the telemedicine information management system was present, and the system modules include medical record management, auxiliary diagnosis, medicine and disease management and system management was completed. Apart from that, considering the problem of security, the system used method which based on iFIX system security combined with VBA programmatically to make sure it stable operation. Finally, a summarization was produced, and the future work about this system was also discussed.
