The Waterworks Automation System Based On The CANbus

This thesis uses the CANBus as the means of communication to compose the waterworks automation monitor system that is based on the FieldBus. The design of the low level hardware such as the intelligent sensor node, the output control unit and the communication protocol converter unit will be given. The monitor system is developed from the national common configuration software-KingView 6.0. By using this monitor system we can accomplish the communication between the host computer and the field intelligent units and the communication network between two water works. This system affords satisfaction to the networking, digitalization and intelligent function demands in process automation.
