With home network system takes modern computer technology, communicationtechnology and control technology as foundation. It adopts advanced managementsoftware to manage communication, security and alarming of the entire house on oneplatform. The design of intelligent home monitoring system, based on CAN bus andSTM32, It is presented under an actual project background.Firstly, studying on CAN bus technology, the hardware of CAN node modulebased on the8-bit microprocessor and the intelligent home controller based on theSTM32is designed. The designs are completed combining with the specific backgroundof smart home applications. The system makes intelligent controller STM32as the corecomponent. By the combination of CAN bus and the Internet, the system achieved thegoal of centralized management and remote monitoring of home appliances.Then, according to the system task analysis, the contents include that thetransplantation of μC/OS-II on the STM32and the development of device drivers, thedesigns of CAN communication software, the design of remote monitoring interfaceand the software designs of other modules are completed.Last, modules of the system are tested. The whole performance of system is testedprimarily by temperature sensor DS18B20. Test results show that the system meets theperformance targets. The system can provide a more safe, comfortable, convenient, fastand open living space which is intelligent and information-based for the residents.
