Through the process of methanol products’ generation, such as quality managementof raw materials, intermediate products and finished products’ examination, there is a lotof data and information of quality to be stored, queried and processed. In the earlyperiod of the factories, the data of quality mostly proceed by manual recordingoperation. The problems of heavy workload, low efficiency, error-prone and poor resultsare apparent. To adapt to the requirement of these factories’ fast development, thedevelopment and design of information management system which meets the company’squality management needs is needed. And it is one of the key measures to enhancecorporate efficiency.This subject contains the application of computer information management theory,combined with database technology to develop a set of quality laboratory informationmanagement system. Aiming at quality inspection, the information management systemputs forward system requirements and system functions. And based on the systemrequirements and system functions, for each module we design the structure, functionand interfaces. Finally we achieve the goals of examined information’s entry, edit, queryand statistical analysis of the quality of information, the formation of the statisticalanalysis chart, and the management by setting permissions, verify password and others.And through these the security of the system can be strengthened. Main window moduleis to render the main menu will be system, and making it easy for users to seek theirown operational requirements. Information editing module is to realize the operationpersonnel to enter all kinds of inspection information to the database of the system.Information query module is easy to operator and related staff query, modify, delete,management operations such as quality inspection information. Statistics analysismodule is the quality inspection information statistics, and the corresponding statisticsor statistical figure is formed. The development tools are Microsoft Visual Studio2008and Microsoft SQL2008.Our quality inspection information system focuses on strengthening managementof the products’ quality inspection data and information, improving the integrated application of product quality inspection data and information, improving efficiency,reducing workload and labor intensity and strengthening the security of qualityinformation management. The system has its own database of product quality inspectionand can systematically and scientifically manage the product quality inspectioninformation. It also can better facilitate the various users of the factory’s internalinspection of the information’s queries and statistics and analysis of the product qualityindicators.
