AFDX(Avionics Full Duplex Switched the Ethernet) is a high-performanceaviation data bus which is based on Ethernet and improve the reliability and theresponsiveness that can fulfilltherequirements of modern aviation’s development.On the basis of understanding of several Packet scheduling algorithms, this paperrealize an algorithm adapt for AFDX switch based on the combination of theRound-Robin Scheduling algorithm and Priority Scheduling algorithm. This paperdivide the circuit into seven modules which are exchange scheduling module,exchangecontrol module, sending module, receive module, VL transmission scheduling module,capture scheduling module and external register management module, and thenaccomplish the circuitdesign and simulation.The final results show that the circuit implemented in this article complete theAFDX scheduling functions.Through the virtual simulation and FPGA testing, thisarticle prove theefficiency of verification and provide a guarantee for the entire switchchip’s implementation.
