Abstract/Summary:
Airborne communication network technology is the hinge and kernel to implementthe high-speed,large-volume data exchanges among the avionics systems.The functionand performance of the airborne data bus determines the avionics system integrationlevel.AFDX is an implementation of the ARINC664Part7standard, which providesreliable time determinism, guaranteed bandwidth, and fault tolerance suitable for flightsafety.With reference to the scientific research project Design of the AvionicsFull-Duplex Switched Etherne(AFDX),that is to design and realize an AFDX Endsystem and Switch in accordance with the definition of part7of ARINC664standards.This paper will be organized as follows:1. The paper begin by the research background,introduces domestic and foreignstatus and development trend of AFDX network.2. Brief description of the AFDX network will be given and it introduces the basiccomponents and how the network works, while giving prominence to the characteristicof the network such as compatibility,real-time,reliability,determine the data transmissionover the network and the working mechanism of network.3. This paper will go on to analyze the pivotal technology of the AFDX,we willanalyze from four aspects:the network architecture,AFDX protocol,algorithm designand key technology of how to implementate the end system and switch.4. Some tests of AFDX are performed from the components level and systemlevel,which giving objective evaluation on The function and the performance ofnetwork.
