Analysis And Design Of Ningbo University Personnel Management System

With the development of information society, the construction of university information system has attracted the whole society’s full attention. Undoubtedly, the construction of university information system is closely related to the development of university. With the growing of the university faculty, personnel management has become more and more complex. The workshop style can no longer meet the needs of personnel management in universities and colleges today. Therefore there is a must to establish a set of high efficient and reliable personnel management system.To start with, the paper reviews the current personnel management system so as to describe strengths and weaknesses of domestic and international personnel management systems. Based on the actual situation of Ningbo University of Technology’s personnel management and the faculty’s specific needs, a detailed analysis of its professional, functional requirements as well as database is illustrated. Then, this paper analyzes NBUT’s personnel management system’s designing principles and requirements, and describes its overall design and technical structure, especially its functional design and database design according to specific requirements.The design and development of NBUT’s personnel management system is almost finished and under trial running right now. The application of NBUT’s personnel management system will improve the efficiency of management and promote the utilization of personnel information, so as to guarantee sustainable and scientific faculty cultivation and standardize personnel management and further promote the construction of a digital campus in NBUT.
