Self-disclosure is the most commonly used mode of communication by candidates during the interview process. If candidates use self-disclosure properly, it will effectively promote the communication effect of the interview.In this article, we take101candidates in the Job-hunting TV Programs Only you as samples, on the basis of communication theory and empirical analysis as descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, to verify the impact on employment and prediction effect made by goodness of fit, and also analyse the impact on every dimension and employment made by the total amount of self-disclosure, and the adjusting effect of compatibility made by the total amount of self-disclosure and its dimensions.Results:(1) Matching degree has the positive directive prediction effect on employment;(2) The amount of self-disclosure and its four dimensions has the adjusting effect in different degrees on matching degree and the result of employment.(3) The amount of self-disclosure has the adjusting effect on matching degree and the opportunity of employment.(4) Disclosure of knowledge has the adjusting effect on matching degree and the opportunity of employment.(5) Disclosure of skill has the adjusting effect on matching degree and the opportunity of employment.(6) Disclosure of ability do not have the adjusting effect on matching degree and the opportunity of employment.(7) Disclosure of others do not have the adjusting effect on matching degree and the opportunity of employment.(8) Opportunity of employment is different in gender, age, fresh graduate and other demographic variables.Base on the data analysis and typical examples, this article is trying to analysis the level and characteristic of self-disclosure of candidates. By carding the relation among matching, self-disclosure and the opportunity of employment, we’re trying to prove the effects of interpersonal communication in interview. On the one hand, the program can help candidates who take part in the Job-hunting TV Programs to use self-disclosure properly, and increase opportunity of employment. One the other hand, article is trying to make proper suggestions for the generous interviewers to improve skills of self-disclosure in interview.
