The problem of distribution route optimization which essence is the vehiclerouting problem is becoming one of the key issues in the field of logisticsmanagement. This paper mainly study on distribution route optimization of chainsupermarket. Since its complexity and diversity,how to arrange routes to deliverright goods to costumers effectively and efficiently is a challenging problem.Handan Shijia chain supermarket as a domestic chain business enterprise, itsoperation of distirbution has many problems, such as the increasing cost and lowefficiency.Coupled with the high prices of oil, it is one disaster after another to themanagement of distribution.This paper analyses the distribution situation of Shijia chain supermarket,points out the existing problems in the process of distribution operation, expoundsthe necessity and urgency of distribution route optimization. The basic ant colonyalgorithm is improved, and the improved ant colony algorithm is used to solve theestablished model of VRP. The original distribution scheme is compared with thenew one.Finally the paper obtains the distribution scheme suitable for the chainsupermarket.In the aspect of algorithm research, the basic ant colony algorithm wasimproved by parameter setting and updating the pheromone rules. In practice,according to the actual situation in the operation of distribution,this paper hasestablished the model of VRP. In the aspect of collection and improvement of data,this paper put forward to passing dififculty coefficient according to the trafficsituation of Handan to process the raw data collected.Finally, solve the model byusing the improved ant colony algorithm.The obtaining scheme performance betterthan the original one in the aspects of vehicle loading rate, distribution costs and soon. Finally, the conclusions of this study are summairzed and put forward the modelof joint distribution, the establishment of professional distribution center,and theestablishment of public information service platform.lt is useful to propose thesemeasures to support the operations of distribution. Distribution route optimization should be paid more attention.lt will reducedistribution costs, improve the efficiency distribution and service quality, thusenabling enterprises to gain competitive advantages in the fierce marketcompetition.
