A Routing Management System Based On Route Analysis

In the filed of IP networking operation and management, one of the most important issue is the stablility and reliablility of the service in IP Bearer Netwrk and WAN network. The article deeply researches on recent problems in Internet network management which mainly focus on the equipment management but lack of management in protocol and service level. So"Routing Management"is instroduced. Compared with the traditional network management, the routing management system is designed to analyze the routing protocol. The main contributions are follows:1 Reseach the structure of Internet. The disadvantage about the current network management system is discussed. Based on these researches, the"Routing Management"is introduced.2 Reseach and improve BGP AS topo generating arithmeties and BGP route flag dampening arithmeties.These two arithmeties has a leading comprehension to the whole system.3 Implement a real-time routing monitioring and analysis system. by means of automatically discovering and gathering routing entity, routing session, routing topology by the route probe, the route management system builds a route database of the whole IP network which provides the management of the status and configuration of the routing entities, the monitoring of the session status and connectivity. The system also takes parts in the interactivity of the routing protocol and the updating and flapping information is caught in time. Therefore, the system supply the supporting data and reference foundation for routing stability monitoring, routing system performance analysis, network throughout capacity and service optimization.4 Build up the environment for internal testing. A performance testing is designed to make sure the system is stable enough.
