The paper presents the study of information acquisition and control of automatedmeter system. This system has the function of control of water and electricity, malignantload identification, data remote transmission, data storage and so on. The system settlesthe problem of power acquisition, display and inquire, it can generate daily statement,monthly statement and correlation table. Using this system, college manager can easilymanage the campus, emancipate the productive forces. Automated meter systemimproves work efficiency.The acreage of the campus is very huge and all the buildings are already finished.On the premise of guaranteeing the teaching, all experts thought choosing wirelesstransmission is the best. Not only it keeps all walls well and reduces the cost.This paper introduces several ways for wireless transmission, for example, powerline carrier, microwave communication and GSM/GPRS communication, compares allthe advantages and shortcomings. Because of the boundedness and instability of powerline carrier and high cost of GSM/GPRS communication, we chose microwavecommunication. We use repeater to strengthen the signal.In this paper, I compared RS-232with RS-485. The RS-485bus interface hasadvantage, it improves the ability of anti-jamming, increases the distance and rate oftransmission. It has a better reliability, at the same time, it is much cheaper which canreduce the cost.Power acquisition and malignant load identification are presented in this paper.Special electric energy metering chip AD7755and the circuit of malignant loadidentification are introduced. The way of using AD7755is very easy and convenient. Itguaranteed precision of the automated meter system. Malignant load identification isalso introduced in this part, by using window comparator and amplifier, depending onphase comparison and singlechip microcomputer. When Malignant load appears, theMCU will cut the electricity by controlling delay. This part introduces the circuit verydetailed. The theory of water meter is introduced, and analysis all advantage anddisadvantage of each way for water metering.This system is being used in our university for half a year, it is running stabilityand gets admirable valuation. All anticipative functions are realized. It has the higheconomic value and practical value. It provides reliable data for logistics managementoffice.
