With the ever-accelerating pace of life, unreasonable eating habits and accelerated aging society speed, and an increasing incidence of coronary heart disease, hypertension, sudden death during sports and so on. In order to avoid accidents due to delays in the timing of treatment, people need a non-invasive continuous blood pressure and cardiovascular information monitoring system for Always knowing their physical condition and timely detecting of cardiovascular disease.Blood pressure travel independently from aortic root to the all arterial system in the form of a wave, which form pulse wave. Pulse wave signal contains a great deal of physiological and pathology information, not only by the impact of the heart condition, but also the changes of mechanical parameters of the cardiovascular system, vascular characteristics, blood parameters and other factors, which is an important signal of reflecting the physical condition.Therefore, studying the method of extraction and recognition of characteristic parameters of pulse wave, relizing the non-invasive continuous monitoring of blood pressure and arterial blood flow parameters, is very important significance for clinical medical diagnosis and monitor. This article mainly includes the following several aspects:1) The paper introduces the usual measurement and the formation mechanism of pulse wave based on noninvasive blood pressure measurement method at home and abroad. it provides an effective way for studying pulse wave by studying and analysising the novel hemodynamics parameter model and vascular system model (windkessel model).2) Using wavelet transform and cubic spline interpolation method, and carrying out de-noising processing and corrected baseline drift of the original pulse wave signal from the pulse sensor, and the steady and smooth pulse waveform is obtained. Gaussian functions were selected and trust region method for fitting and extraction of the characteristic parameters of the pulse wave, which provides the foundations for the research on pulse wave.The paper uses multiple stepwise regression method to establish stepwise regression equation, and calculate the parameters of artery flow to get storke volume, peripheral resistance and pulse wave parameters.3) The characteristic parameters of pulse wave sifting through trust region fitting method of Gaussian function is applied to design Matlab GUI, which could reach human interaction and provide a new way not only to analysis the parameters of artery blood flow system and blood pressure in real time,but also to diagnosis illness timely.
