With the accelerated rhythm of modern life, thus it creates a growing pressure. Arterialblood pressure is based on the State of the heart and blood vessels measured, is animportant physiological response function parameters, with an important role in theclinical and prognosis, diagnosis and observation and so on.Pulse wave transit time (PTT) is the time needed to reach the peripheral vasculararterial pressure wave from the aortic valve. Studies have shown that under certainconditions PTT and blood pressure has certain change relations. And on the premise ofindividual correction can be characterized by PTT measurements of changes in bloodpressure. Therefore it is very important to get the pulse wave transit time to estimate bloodpressure. Through the analysis and comparison of pulse wave transit time measurementmethod, finally uses the method which the wavelet analysis and the heart electricity Rwave law unifies.The system mainly consists of two parts of ECG, pulse wave signal data acquisitionand processing module and the host computer the PTT monitoring software module. Thehardware part of the whole system uses MSP430F149microcontroller as the core, and useit’s A/D module to acquisite the ECG signal detected by ECG conditioning circuit, andpulse wave signal detected by pulse wave conditioning circuits, and sent to the computerby way of serial communication. By using this hardware program, cost is greatly reducing,and the microcontroller’s flexibility and superior performance characteristics are given fullplay. The software part mainly includes: Based on wavelet transformation heart electricalsignal and pulse wave signal de-noising processing and PTT examination and appliedanalysis.In Bethune international peace Hospital Center for sleep disorders research, collectingECG and pulse wave signal, processing and analysis, to verify the detection method isfeasible.
