In recent years, gamma ray is widely used in various fields, but it has damage tohuman body, therefore, more and more people pay attention to the monitoring ofgamma ray. Traditional gamma ray monitoring method which often has deploymentdifficulties, poor scalability and high maintenance cost can’t meet the requirement ofpeople. Wireless sensor network (WSN) as an emerging technology, which has theadvantages that are wide monitoring scope, low cost and AD hoc network. It is greatof importance that wireless sensor network is introduce to gamma ray environment,this paper studies the gamma ray monitoring interface equipment based on wirelesssensor network and routing algorithm.In order to realize wireless monitoring of gamma ray, this paper firstly as thegamma ray spectrum probe and relevant equipment a detector device, designed a kindof wireless sensor interface equipment based on wireless sensor network formonitoring gamma-ray, The interface equipment mainly includes microcontroller(ATMegal28L), wireless transceiver(CC2420), interface module(CP2102)information storage(AT45DB021D) and power module. It receives the data from thedetector, sends the data to base station with wireless communication way, and realizesthe remote real-time monitoring function; Secondly, as cluster head selectionrandomness of clustering algorithm and PSO-C algorithm without considering thedistance from cluster head to base station, a improved particle swarm routingalgorithm, considering the node residual energy, the distance between nodes and thedistance from nodes to base station, is brought out, through improved particle swarmfitness function, and selects the optimal nodes as the cluster head, the cluster headtransmit the data to base station in a single or more jumps through searching right path.The simulation results show that the nodes energy consumption of network had beensignificantly reduced, and the network life cycle had been extended; Finally, thispaper designed a gamma-ray monitoring experiment system based on wireless sensornetwork (WSN) with applying the wireless sensor interface equipment and theimproved routing algorithm, it designed the software for sensor nodes and built agamma ray monitoring experiment scene. The test shows that the experimental system could acquire the data of monitoring object, self-organizing network, and achieve thegoal of real-time monitoring and remote monitoring.
