There is a big gap between China and abroad in technical field nowadays. Many of the gamma cameras used in China were imported from aboard. And the application has been greatly restricted by the high price. The thesis aims to develop a kind of gamma camera with miniaturization, portability and price.Embedded hardware and software technology have been used in the design and the implementation of the gamma ray data acquisition and monitoring system. The gamma camera system was composed of the raw data acquisition, image reconstruction and process and the gamma ray resource position minitoring. Thus it can detect the gamma ray resource near the nuclear equipment.At the first part of the thesis the basic principle and the main techniques was introduced during the system design, including embedded system construction, wireless local network configuration and network program, image reconstruction and process , remote monitoring technology, etc. And the system functions are also defined according to the project requirement. The design of the system was divided into two parts: hardware design and software design. The software realization is described in details, including the customization of the embedded Linux system, the Linux device driver migration, the realization of the MiniGUI interface and the the submodule of the image process and remote monitoring. Finally, the system is tested using simulate event data. The result shows that the whole data acquisition system can obtain the event data. After the event data resconstruction, the system can not only realize the image display and process, but also provide the remote control function.
