There are more than210drivers’ colleges and over13,000driving instructors in Guizhou. With the booming of the drivers’ training industry, nearly4,000candidates submitted applications to be qualified instructors annually. Under the Auto Transportation Act (2006, No.2) and the Auto Training Regulations of Guizhou, it requires successful completion of application, drivers’ training, certification examination, and registration, furthermore the act also regulates the quality and discipline of current registered instructor. Currently, our database system, ACCESS, records all database mentioned above, however due to limitations, it cannot share data with other systems and data loss as a result. I believe it is an urgent matter to develop a Guizhou Driver Instrutors’ Database in order to share data across our state. This article will review our current system and the significance of the new software development, it will introduce the new system’s blueprint, such as service requirements, functional and non-functional needs, and system flowchart. Later on, it will explain the current system’s Graphic User’s Interface, where it will display our registrants’ applications, current posting, exam results, and certification date. With assistance from our graphical presentations (E-R chart, flowchart, and informational pictures), we will explain how the proposed system will monitor and record the entire registration process from initial exam to certification date. We will conclude summaries the platform selection and development mode of this system.
