In the modern war, the end of the war is the ground battle. In the ground warfare, tank and various armored cars will take the multinomial task, such as breaking the line of defended, conducting the deep hit, and so on. These equipments hasing strong firepower and the remarkable ground capability is not divided, which also led to the ground_war will be a war of the armored or mechanized warfare form. Therefore,anti tank weapon system will becoming inevitable.This discourse mainly aims1-D laser inaging fuze using for the flying over Top-Attacking antitank missile, on the condition the target distance is short and faster the velocity condition of intersection is fast and laser fuze location on the target is stochasic.1-D dimensional laser imaging fuze, which is applying on weapons platform depend on the Nap-of-the-Earth flight of high precision and fast measyrement of1-D range profile of target background information. The target can be detected using1-D shape contour feature and background ground height. The laser ranging technology is described, and a continuous wave pulse ranging system application is presented. Details of the short time interval measurement technology of the basic theory and methods of measurement is depicting. On these basis the picosecond time interval measurement module has been designed, and the module was carried out in laboratory test system. System has been designed for obtaining a contour information using laser detection mechanism. The target detection system includes laser emitting, receiving,signal processing and other various module. The test points are calculated and discuss, also the laser choices are analysis. A complete1-D laser inaging detection device has been built, which can meet the requirementsof actual target detection. A lot of experiments has been dine to verify the working characteristics and anti interference ability of smoke, which is also based on the related experimental data and target1-D contour information. And the typical target1-D contours is comparative analysised in the summary.The comparative analysis on the actual field data and typical target information are showing. Based on the short time interval measurement, the1-D laser imaging device can process the motion target1-D profile, which realizes the fast and effective identification. The target and background characteristics is distinguishing obviously. The detect results of the typical target are proving above-mentioned conclusion.
