Due to the increasing number of the global mobile users and the diversification of users’ demands, the wireless communications industry was restricted by the serious shortage of spectrum resources. Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology is the research focus in the field of next generation wireless communication. This technology can exponentially improve the spectrum efficiency and the system capacity without increasing the system bandwidth.On the basis of MIMO technology principle and MIMO-OFDM system model, this paper does research work on MIMO detection and channel decoding respectively. ML, ZF, MMSE and HPML was studied. And the testing performance of these four algorithms was also analysed and simulated. The author considered the algorithm detection performance and complexity together as a whole in order to achieve performancegoals. This paper selected HPML to implement the technical proposal above in hardware. In order to improve the transmission performance, this paper also studied channel-decode and and finally selected RS(31,15) for channel decoding of this technical proposal.Finally, this paper detailed HPML and elaborated on the hardware implementation of RS decoding, and the timeing simulation waveform of each module was given in the last part of this paper. |
