With the arrival of the4G era, data card has become the best way to experience network.Firstly, this article analysised the problems of the development of data card, and proposed a method of software management which could support multi-platform, then analysised its demand.Next, this article introduced the layered design patterns of this management software. From bottom to top, they are the data card driver, SDK layer, UI layer respecetively. Data card driver maps the USB to the AT port, Modem port, Dialog port, and Voise port. The SDK layer mainly deals with the operating system, which is adapted secondary encapsulation method. Moreover, the SDK layer provides a unified interface which is used to upper UI layer and underlying data card. The UI layer, which is programmed by Qt language, mainly deal with the human-computer interaction. The paper introduced the design of the SDK and UI layers, and gave an example of the software usage. Then a detailed design and implementation of data service layer was presented, and its function and performance were tested.At present, the project has satisfied the cross-platform demand of data card with the featuer of strong scalability and customization,and has completed a great deal of customization.
