Design And Realization Of Water Leakage Detector Based On Dspic30F6014Processor

Because of the water leakage in the underground water supply pipeline, it is difficult to locate the leakage point timely and precisely. Therefore it is easy to cause the waste of water resources. Nowadays with the freshwater resources decreasing in China, the topic of studying advanced pipeline water leakage detector is becoming more and more important. In response to this topic, this paper provides an approach to design a correlation leak location detector based on DSP, and discusses the algorithm of hardware and software system.This design uses a16bits high-performance chip dsPIC30F6014as the core system processor produced by American Microchip Semiconductor Company, which processes the digital filtering and correlation analysis on the collected water leakage acoustic signal, and displays the results on the LCD screen.Firstly this paper discusses the characteristics of pipeline water leakage acoustic signal, and elaborates the principle of pipeline water leakage detection. At the same time, it provides a design of water leakage detection system based on DSP. Then the paper discusses in detail the circuit structure and design method of the each hardware module in water leakage detection system, and gives the connection diagram of circuit. In the aspects of software algorithm, it mainly discusses the denoising algorithm and cross-correlation time delay algorithm of the water leakage signal, and verifies the rationality of algorithm by the simulation tool MATLAB and MPLAB IDE which is a integrated development tool produced by Microchip company, finally completes the system simulation test under the simulated field conditions to give the results of the test and location. Experiments prove that the design of leak location detection is speedy, reliable, convenient, and with high practical value.
