Air leakage detection as a kind of detection is becoming more and more important in the area of quality intendance. In some fields, air leakage detector is taking a very important place such as automobile industry, water heater products using gas, kitchen rangs, gas meters, all kinds of values using in industy and so on. In this paper, a new method is put forward, which is based on the principle of cubage compensation, and the control functions are achieved on the embedded system.In this paper, firstly, expounds the background and signification of leakage detection, and introduces the actuality and development trend of leakage detection internal and external; fundamental and thory function of leakage is investigated base on elemental of direct pressure and differential pressual, based on this, the method which is based on cubage compensation of leakage detection is put forward. Secondly, the hardware of the control system of leakage detection based on the principle of cubage compensation was studied and the processor and the memory and the design unit of the hardware expounded. Then, this article focused on the software of the control system of leakage detection based on the principle of cubage compensation. We design the driver of the hardware of the control system of leakage detection and build the Windows CE operating system which is running on the hardware. We also designed testing software of leakage detection which is based on the priciple of cubage compensation. The test software can show the curve of the differential pressual and displacement, control the drive of compensation cylinder and calcuated the leakage and leakage rate. Finally, the control system of leakage detection is built up based on ARM9 and Windows CE. We detect the test pieces using the principle of cubage compensation and common differential, and analysis the error of the experiment.
