With the development of industrial automation, large, medium and small distributedcontrol system (DCS) in petroleum chemical industry, electric power and other industriesmore and more widely applied. At present, the DCS system between process control leveland control management level as well as between process control level and field devicesmost wired mode (local area network (LAN) is used to realize its data communicationsfunction. But in some occasions, such as bad terrain conditions, laying electrical/opticalcable is difficult; Require emergency rapid networking or temporary network; Due to thetransmission distance is far, wiring uneconomic economically and maintenance cost ishigher, the wireless DCS system will be a better solution. Relatively speaking, the DCSsystem based on wireless communication will have more advantage. Therefore, to be ableto develop a set of DCS system based on wireless technology will be beneficial to a fieldof industrial control field.Theoretically, the wireless communication technology can be applied to all levels ofthe DCS communication network. This topic put forward by the wireless DCS radiocommunication technique is mainly used in the process control level in the network,which form the field control level in the form of wireless communication network. Also,to the production management level and control management level is similar to superiorscan also adopt wireless communication system, this constitutes a complete sense of theDCS system based on wireless communication technology. Production management leveland management level, including management computer (PC) and operating station, etc.;Control management level consists of operator station and engineer station, etc.; Theprocess control level including measuring control instrument and is responsible for thewireless communication, wireless gateway and wireless nodes, etc. The whole system byhierarchical communication network (wired and wireless).In thorough research, on the basis of wireless communication and DCS, this topicdesign completed mainly STM32chip, the CPU, communication networks involved inwireless communications and traditional Ethernet communication, distributed systemcomposed of RS485communication.
