As the rapid development of the automatic control, the DCS (distributed controlsystem) is widely applied in petrochemical, electric power, and many other industries.Chemical production process involves a wide range of detection control instruments, suchas temperature sensor, pressure transmitter, control valve, flow meter, etc. In generalcommunications between field instruments as well as DCS control systems always usecable way for data signal transmission. But with the development of technology, thetraditional DCS wired control has not meet in the process of industrial production for theperformance requirements of the control system. Especially on the industrial field withmoving objects, scattered control nodes and severe environmental conditions when layingcommunication cable is difficult, we have to rely on the wireless communication networkto make up for the inadequacy of wired communications. While as the transmissionmedium in wireless channe, electromagnetic wave overcomes the above shortcomings andfurther improves the communication performance of the industrial control network. At thesame time, it is possible to widely use wireless communication technology in the chemicalprocess monitoring and the real-time fault diagnosis with its maturity and standardization.Theoretically, wireless communication technology can be applied at all levels of theDCS network. The wireless DCS which this paper puts forword mainly refers to theapplication of wireless network communication in chemical process control levels, that isto build field control level communication network in the form of wireless. Wirelesscommunication technology can also be widely applied to the system level andmanagement level or higher production control networks, So then you can make a realwireless communication DCS system.Considering the deep research of wireless communication protocol in modern controland DCS system application in chemical industry, and from the perspective of low powerconsumption and low cost, this paper proposes a overall design scheme based onembedded wireless communication DCS system in chemical production process control.Meanwhile the basic framework of the wireless network node is given. Finally distributedcontrol system consists of the RS485communication,which lets STM32chip as the mainCPU and refers to wireless communications and Ethernet communication is designed.
