Research On Production Mode For Library Digital Information Resources Of Users Participation Under Social Network Environment

With the development of social network technology, the application of social software and social networking website which are based on web2.0inspired user participation in digital resource production enthusiasm. In the digital resources, the user is not only consumers, but also producers and disseminators. Under the social network environment, library users also begin transformation from purely digital consumers to digital resource creators. Social network development offered new opportunity for user to participate in the library digital resource production.At present, the theory and practice of user participation under social network environment for library digital information resources production are in the exploratory stage. There isn’t available system model for library digital information resource production. So this paper first overviewed the current-related research areas and carded the library digital resource production practice over domestic and foreign university. Then the writer selected top100universities among China and USA to make a investigation about the social network technology practice of library website and the status of user participation in digital resource production.Secondly, the paper analyzed cognitive, motivation, role three intrinsic factors and subject type, social network technology, collaborative way three external factors for user participation in library digital resources production under social network enverionment. And then based on the analysis of system structure, the writer proposed the user involvement in the library digital resource production pattern hypothesis.To better understand the cognitive, demand and application of different identities of people about user participation in library digital resources under social network environment, this paper carried out a questionnaire and field study visits to1030users, 237librarians and45experts from14university library in Nanjing, Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen. And then analyses the result of the questionnaire.Finally, based on theory, practice and research data, this paper amended the user involvement of the library digital resource production pattern hypothesis. This paper has some reference on the university library to carry out the user participation of digital information resources production in library under social network environment.
