As the worldwide economic is rapidly growing, Chinese government brought forward a strategy of reforming textile industry with information technologies. In Chinese textile industry, 80% of textile enterprises are in middle or small size. How to improve their information-based management is a stringent problem to the development of textile industry. ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) is a scientific and systemic enterprise management theory, which can be used to resolve the matter above-mentioned. Since the ERP theory is introduced to China, it develops very fast, but few middle or small sized textile enterprises can accept it. There are two main reasons, one is that excellent foreign ERP software are not fit for the situation of Chinese enterprises, the other is that domestic software is designed for Chinese purpose but the price of them are expensive. So in this background, author takes Haixin Wool Textile Co., Ltd. for example, and designs an ERP software with rational price and convenient usage for our middle or small sized textile enterprises.Software system is built based on the three-tier C/S framework by using Delphi7 as developing tool and SQL Sever as database, absorbing the rational management method, presenting the formula to predict prior to production and with effective data dealing ability. All of these can improve the enterpriser's management greatly.First this thesis reviews the development and research status of ERP in general, and analyzes the importance of the ERP's execution in enterprises according to the production of Haixin Wool textile Co., Ltd. Then software system's overall frame is built based on the enterprise's requirement. After that the thesis focuses on introducing the technologies used in designing the system's models. Finally the kernels and the procedures of executing ERP software system are put forward in the thesis.
