Study On The Digital Archive Backup Mode

With the accelerated development of information and network technology, the digital archive has become the main form of modern file. Compared with traditional archive, which is very important to keep the digital archive safe because of the instability, modifiability and dependent of them. In order to avoid potential risks, we must be prepared in advance to deal with the threat. It is necessary to do the work of the digital archive backup. Archives department in order to ensure information security and meet backup requirements, have started to establish a digital archive backup center such as Tai’an backup center in Shandong Province, the system of registration and backup of archives in Zhejiang Province and digital archive backup center of Liaoning. These backup centers are support for researching the knowledge of backup.The thesis takes the digital archive backup and mode as the main research object, including five parts. The first part introduces research background, research meaning and research situation in present. The second part is the introduction of definition, purpose and style about digital archive backup. The third part discusses the type of the backup mode, how to choose backup mode and establishes the evaluation index system of backup mode. At the same time, this part analysis some instance of the backup center and what are the advantages. Finally, this essay explores some problems of digital archive backup center’s construction in the future. It mainly includes four areas:attention to research, attention to investment, the establishment of performance evaluation and improving emergency management mechanism.
