In recent years, the data of hospital is in a general large-scale. For a comprehensive hospital,1day image data volume is about9.8G, one year is about3.6T, and also in the growth rate of2.5%a year increases in recent years, online for a long time to save images and documents at least10years budget50T of storage space. Plenty of images and documents need higher request for hospital storage. Second, the image using is more and more frequently, more patients, doctors’call and look at images and documents more frequently. After discharge, the patients return calls the original images and documents, which requires the system has higher data disaster backup capacity. As a result, to improve the traditional PACS storage system has become a key issue.In this thesis, we design PACS storage backup archive management system. Although the PACS system is increasingly mature, the storage capability of its core is still a new challenge. The design of this system changes the original secondary storage for tertiary storage, using the Spring framework and j Query framework, using hierarchical storage design concept. This thesis analyses the characters of the system and demand, the storage management system carries on the detailed design of the system. First of all, we design the function and process of the system, secondly design strategies and storage tasks, each storage tasks according to the different storage strategy implementation, and using the storage strategy, storage mission to implement images and documents between tertiary storage backup, migration, reduction, archiving. In the detailed design of system, we design storage management, media management, task management for online respectively, near line and offline storage to achieve the user’s different needs.In the system design, stored management, media management, task management, these three function modules implement different specific functions respectively. Storage management realizes storage area management and storage policy management, store information management. After querying medium, medium management realizes medium migration, restore, and switching function. Task management enables and disables tasks already available in the system. These specific one-time task implementation is embodiment for backup, migration, reduction, archiving. Through test, system meets the system requirements and is a fully functional, safety and stability of the system.
