Research On Service Composition Of Regional Medical Platform Based On SOA

Regional medical platform is a platform which can connect the information systems of regional medical institutions and make the exchange and sharing of data. Through the integration of existing medical information systems, regional medical platform integrates the medical resources and realizes medical collaboration between different medical institutions. Thus, it can improve the quality of medical services, reduce medical costs and medical risks. However, the existing information systems of various medical institutions are developed independently. Meanwhile, the internal information processing of these information systems has large differences, so the data in systems are inconsistent and difficult to interact and share between various application systems. In this paper, in order to solve the above problems, building a regional medical platform architecture based on SOA is proposed and the research of service composition technology under this architecture is focused on.A variety of different applications are packaged into a unified Web services by systems based on SOA, so SOA can mask the differences between different application systems. However, these Web services which are just some hash of particles in the platform, need some kinds of rules to combine these services, so as to realize the interaction and sharing of data. Through defining the rules of Web services, the service composition technology can realize business processes with a specific function and collaboration, and resolve the problem of data communication between different regional medical institutions. Meanwhile, the sharing of information and data can be realized, and the requirements of building regional medical platform can be satisfied.Therefore, with the background of regional medical platform, this paper researches on the key technologies of SOA firstly and designs the service composition method with the object of specific medical business process under SOA, achieving the inter-agency business processes of Regional Medical platform. The main contents include the following aspects:First, the regional medical platform is analysed and a SOA-based building method is proposed to solve the difficulties of building the plateform. The method based on Web services packages disparate applications into a unified Web service. Thereby the proposed method can shield the differences between technology and data, and lay the foundation for the realization of the interaction and sharing of data and information which are from different systems.Second, the service composition technology was analysed and researched in depth under SOA. Because BPEL has many advantages, such as loosely coupled, highly agile, service-oriented and so on, this paper use BPEL to design the method of service composition. The method based on BPEL makes rues for these scattered Web services. So these Web services can cooperate with each other. Meanwhile, business process which is realized by this method can expose itself as a Web service. This Web service can be used directly for the platform or become a part of another business processes.Finally, on the basis of the above researches, the drug procurement business processe as an example is realized by the method of service composition based on BPEL that designed in this paper. Through the example, the feasibility and availability of the method are proved. So the method affords some reference value for solving the problem of data sharing and interaction in regional medical platform and realizing the platform.
