Natural environment simulation technology is an important research topic in computer science,and it is also widely used in the field of virtual reality.For applications in different directions,the technology for realizing natural environment simulation will be different.For example,when it comes to geoscience research and extraterrestrial geomorphology research,field measurement of surface height data is an effective research method;when it comes to landscape generation,virtual sandbox generation and in-game scene generation in flight simulator,low data Storage and efficient automatic generation technology have become the primary means.The focus of natural environment simulation technology is surface morphological simulation and natural scene simulation.Among them,fractal algorithm is a widely used method for automatically generating terrain height data,but this method cannot ensure the generation of terrain with specified shape.How to deal with this problem? It is difficult to generate terrain with specified surface contour structure and surface details simply and efficiently.Another difficulty in natural environment simulation is to generate vegetation coverage area.How to simulate the complex contour shape of vegetation coverage in real world is The difficulty of this problem.This paper will study the macroscopic geomorphological morphogenesis and the generation of surface vegetation coverage in natural environment simulation.This article mainly completes the following work:(1)A method for generating terrain height maps with specified contours is proposed.The method firstly controls the terrain shape based on the finite two-dimensional discrete points,interpolates the height data stored by the discrete points,and generates the original terrain contour data in the transition interval.For the problem that the interpolation data value exceeds the gray value range,the terrain data is normalized.Formula,the interpolation data is normalized to a reasonable interval,and the terrain contour height map is generated.Finally,combined with the random weight topographic data fusion formula proposed in this paper,the terrain contour data iscombined with the fractal noise data to generate a macroscopic terrain contour structure.And a target terrain height map with a certain surface detail.(2)A method for generating vegetation coverage area is proposed to solve the problem of simulating the complex contour features of vegetation coverage in real natural environment.The macroscopic morphological characteristics of the vegetation distribution area in the real environment are analyzed.The distribution characteristics of different vegetations on different scales and scales are designed.Different horizontal and vertical vegetation distribution intervals are designed.Based on this,based on the horizontal and vertical directions.The vegetation distribution interval binarizes the fractal noise gray map and the target terrain height map proposed in this paper to generate horizontal and vertical vegetation distribution maps.Finally,the two are XORed to obtain the surface vegetation distribution map;The model performs relocation calculations to solve the problem of vegetation above the surface of the vegetation in the distribution area where the vegetation arrangement is too neat and low probability.(3)A natural environment simulation construction scheme is proposed.The scheme is based on the target terrain height map and the surface vegetation distribution map as the basic data for generating the virtual natural environment,and is optimized for the generation of vegetation distribution areas on large-scale terrain.The terrain mesh with the specified terrain contour is generated based on the target terrain height map data;and the vegetation distribution region with complex contour morphological features is generated based on the surface vegetation distribution map data.In order to solve the real-time efficiency problem of large terrain,LOD technology is applied to optimize the real-time rendering of large terrain and vegetation coverage area.Based on the characteristics of surface vegetation distribution map,an optimization method is designed,which is controlled by giving a random disturbance to the surface vegetation distribution map.Whether or not vegetation is generated at each position,without affecting the overall effect of the vegetation coverage area,by increasing the range space of the random disturbance amount,the vegetation generation probability is reduced,thereby improving the real-time efficiency of the natural environment rendering.
