Community is one of the most important grass-roots organizations in modern society, is the most important link of contact between residents, society and government, and is also the main place for people’ s dwelling, living, associating and studying. Community has become the social management forefront with our country socialist market economy’ s rapid development, and a lot of social services, social management and social security functions separated from the government to community. As the information development booming currently, the computer and network technology has been increasingly mature day by day, and thus the national E-government (EG) foundation already got large-scale investment and development. The modern community information platform applied with advanced information technology to promote community construction, and built with information technology and network technology for support is irresistible, which is pressed for improving the resident’s life quality and constructing the Service-Oriented government, and is the inevitable requirement as well of promoting the community management level, and building the modern new communities with orderly management, beautiful environment, perfect service and good public security.The community information platform designed and developed in this thesis will greatly enhance the efficiency and level for community management, can promote community infonnation sharing, eliminate the information isolated areas and strengthen the communication between the general public and the ministries, so as to make the community’ s management more efficient, services more excellent, residents more satisfied, which can effectively promote the construction process to a harmonious community and society.This thesis introduced the current community infonnatization construction situation and development trend, and discussed the supporting technology and researching content of system development. In this thesis, regarding the specific demands on community informatization, the DOTNET technology was applied to put forward the design proposal for building community information platform and then have the system realized. This thesis firstly analyzed the functional requirements of community infornatization to determine the system’ s design objective and principles, and then determined the method of development based on DOTNET technology in choosing the platform of development. It emphasized to discuss the system structure design, put forward the layered structure based on hierarchical style, effectively made use of the advantage of DOTNET platform to improve the efficiency of development. The system’ s functional module design was described in detail-with the component-oriented development technology, design some general user controls, reducing the workload in the functional module development; the management of function was divided into foreground demonstration and background management, in order to adapt to information management requirements. This thesis finally proposed MasterPage layout technology, which effectively resolves the layout problem for each page in display, and simplifies the page design.Through the promotion and construction to this system, it can provide the civilians with convenient and quality service, build a bridge of communication between government and people, and further improve the quality of people’ s life, which has been one of the important purposes of urban informatization construction.
