In recent years, poplar wood processing industry has been booming with the change ofmarket demand and the progress of science and technology, and constantly develops new poplarwood products, such as carbonized poplar wood, engineered poplar floor board, compressedpoplar wood, etc. Carbonized poplar wood technology is relatively simple, engineered woodtechnology is high demanding and high cost, therefore, the preparation of compressed poplarwood occupies a crucial position. However, there are some difficulties which are very importantin high temperature compress of poplar wood, such as the choice of wood’s nature, the choiceof compressing process, the machine’s degree of automation. In order to ensure the quality ofcompressed pplar wood, and increase poplar wood’s reduce, we must choose the appropriateprocessing technology and better compressing machines. With the mutual penetration ofcomputer technology and automatic control technology, industrial control systems are widelyused. In this paper, PLC control technology has been deeply used in high temperaturecompressing machines of poplar wood, also bring about densification of poplar wood and lowerrebound rate and higher productivity of heat pressing.The thesis analyses the meaning of automation control in the heat pressing of poplar woodbased on the flattening process parameters of arc poplar wood obtained after studied, and thestatus of processing and utilization of compressed poplar wood at home and abroad has beenreviewed. The control system of prestressed flattening machine of arc poplar wood based onPLC and the relevant design of analog acquisition by means of pressure sensors andtemperature sensors are mainly introduced. This system selects OMRON Corporation C200HEPLC as the main control device, testes the size of pressure station’s pressure through the onlinedetection, and controls the hydraulic system coordinately in order to adapt to different thicknessand moisture content(MC) of poplar board. Besides, this system can control the time ofboosting and depressurization to reduce the success average and productivity of compressingpoplar wood.The software design of the control system includes the entire manual/automatic PLCcontrol programming and touch-screen interface programming. The system controls solenoidvalve of the hydraulic system by means of control procedures, and then controls the feeddisplacement of the above plate. It establishes a good user interactive interface via the touchscreen, and realizes the whole operation control visualizations. The interactive interfacesinclude the initial parameter settings of compressing, dynamic display curve of pressure andtemperature, accident alarm and so on. A complete control system for the high temperature compress of poplar wood has beendeveloped in this topic. The control system can be adaptively to solve different nature of poplarboard, and its width varies, moisture content varies, which carries an unprecedented innovationin the poplar compressing process and equipment with high promotional value...
