Economic globalization raises new problems for traditional manufacturingindustry. Machinery industry is confronted with great challenges and opportunities:first, the outflow of real economy caused by economic crisis tremendous obstacles therapid growth of the industry, there becomes a strong need to expand sales modelbesides technical innovation. On the other hand, internet technology brings new vigorand vitality for SMEs, machinery industry needs to keep pace with the times,integrating into the information society.The research is focusing on the development of3D display platform formechanical products based on SolidWorks. The platform integrates internettechnology and3D modeling technology to build an online e-commerce platform forCNC machine tools which has got basic functions of e-commerce and the feature of3D display. It is also provided with business intelligence and cloud computingfunction. It’s an exploratory research on manufacturing informatization.This paper describes the entire process of the platform development whichincludes overall planning, detailed design, core functionality development andadvanced features development. The research chose.Net2.0, Sql Server2005andExtAspNet as the development framework, and layered architecture was designed onthe basis of demand research. Typical e-commerce modules were developed based onunderlying architecture. Then according to the characteristics of the mechanicalmanufacturing industry, the functionality of online3D display and parametriccustomization were achieved by secondary development of SolidWorks andeDrawings. Finally, advanced features were studied and developed: the corporateattention problem was solved based on Tarjan algorithm, which improved the analysiscapability on large-scale user relationship network of the platform; and on the basis ofstandard PSO algorithm, improvements on constraints, multi-object, parameter designand chaos disturbance were made to solve the problem of processing parametersoptimization.
