Process parameter cross section measurement technique is kind of on-linemeasurement technique which is developed rapidly in recent years. The twodimension distribution or image of some cross section can be obtained from the arraytype sensors which are based on the principle of radiation, electromagnetism andoptics and so on. As a kind of novel technique processing the advantages ofunperturbed, visualization, simple structure and low cost and so on, the cross sectiondetection technique has a wide application prospect in the industrial field such asChemical Industry, Petrochemical Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry and others.It has profound significance to obtain the industrial process parameters preciselyand real-timely for monitoring and optimizing industrial product process. However,the existing cross section data acquisition system could not meet the demand ofmeasurement in real-time, because that the process parameters vary rapidly inpractical industrial product process. Moreover, the existing cross section dataacquisition system adapted non-industrial standard bus and it could not applied anddeveloped better in industrial field.With the emphasis on improving the real-time performance and extendingindustrial application, this subject designs a novel cross section data acquisitionsystem based on industrial standard bus—CompactPCI Bus. The mainly research is asfollows:1. With the focus on improving the real-time performance of cross section dataacquisition system, this subject designs the digital filter and digital demodulationmethod based on FPGA instead of the traditional analog filter and demodulationmethod based on analog components.2. With the research on CompactPCI technique, the scheme of cross section dataacquisition system is designed based on CompactPCI bus to improve the real timeperformance and stability, and extend industrial application of the system.3. Finishing the design of circuit and Printed Circuit, and realizing the hardwareplatform of process parameter cross section data acquisition system; Finishing thetests of the whole system initially. According to the experiments and test results, theanalysis and evaluation of the cross section data acquisition is presented at last.
