At present,the demand of industrial production in the coal is growing rapidly.With the vigorous development of the coal industry,our country have kept important focus on the problem for safety of coal production.However due to the geographical environment is complex,there are still a lot of potential safety problems in the coal mine underground.Therefore we need to make a reservation for mine personnel to get the miners' location when the accident occurs.And it could lock the rescue in time range for mine rescue.Firstly this paper describes the concept of wireless sensor network and its localization algorithm briefly.And according to the characteristics of environment in the actual coal mine,research the problems of DV-hop algorithm in the process of the coal mine personnel positioning.Based on this,an improved DV-hop localization algorithm is proposed,firstly this algorithm use the anchor nodes of area as reference, and it has not only completed the preferred method of anchor nodes,but also avoid the anchor node which is nearly in a line.Secondly this paper proposes a genetic chaos particle swarm optimization.Firstly the improved algorithm introduce the factor of crossover and mutation into the particle swarm optimization algorithm to form a new generation,and it has improved the diversity of particles and prevent the prematurity of the algorith.At the same time we use the chaotic to optimize the parameter of particle swarm optimization algorithm.And it has enhanced the traversal feature and global convergence of algorithm. Finally,we use the GAPSO algorithm to correct the node locations of DV-Hop algorithm. Experiments show from the improved algorithm in locating underground personnel can not only improve the positioning accuracy effectively but also reduces the average location error significantly.Finally,we combine the proposed improved algorithm in this paper with GAINS hardware platform.And using C++ builder which it is designed the coal mine monitoring systemin the corridors of the underground personnel positioning.The experimental data show that the proposed algorithm can not only meet the needs of underground personnel positioning and it has also improved the level of coal mine monitoring location.
