The Present Of Internet Opinions In The News Reports

For traditional media, Internet bring about the diversity of online news outlets andinformation sources, change the old ways of news production. More and more mediapractitioners turn to network for news clues. The newspaper fill with "Net-friend said","Net-friend shout","Net-friend disclose","Net-friend show" and so forth. Net-friend’scomments, opinions to news figures, explosive revelations, even the words used unintentionally,are likely to become the content of the news reports. This phenomenon undoubtedly enrichedthe content and form of news reports, but the problems are also not allowed to ignore.This paper selected the five years(from2008to2012) net-friend opinion reports of Chinayouth daily as content analysis samples. Finally it got535samples after screening and didintensive study from three dimensions: basic statistics, how did news reports show aboutnetizen comments, and how to build the image of net-friend. The result of basic statisticanalysis shows that the network opinions that was quoted by news report are all both as fact andopinions. These opinions has often been unified and amplifier, and quoted as the supporter ofthe report."Net-friend" are framed as "the majority of the public". They provide facts oropinions, and they are generalized, indiscriminate, anonymous, but they are also rational,representative. Their opinions and ideas are always right, to be able to make a comprehensive,objective, rational and calm judgment to the social public affairs that involved in the interests ofthe public. Through the frame analysis, we know that this result is due to the media itself whochoose news materials as they like and seeking common ground when frame opinions.Hence, this paper shows that there are three main problems existed in the network opinionsreport. Firstly, the authenticity of news report is challenged by reporting bias. Secondly, therepresentativeness of "public opinion" is fractured. Thirdly, the method error mislead the newsappears. These problems demands the practitioner of traditional news media to defend the newsquality rely on rigorous, objective and realistic attitude. And obtain accurate, authoritativeconclusion or data through scientific and rational method as far as possible. Also only like this,network opinion is going to be fully, objectively and evenly presented.
